  • Generally this error is caused by not having a Default Document in a directory.
  • You usually need to have a file with one of the following names in the directory to be able to browse to that directory:
default.htm
default.html
default.asp
default.cfm
index.html
index.htm
index.php
index.asp
index.aspx
index.cfm
home.htm
home.html
home.asp
home.cfm
home.aspx
