Restrict access to a folder in iis

When you need to restrict or prevent access to a folder on a Windows based (IIS) server, but still want your application to be able to get to the files, here's how to do that:

1. Go to IIS
2. Find the site
3. In Features find Request Filtering
4. Add the directory name that you want to prevent access to
