If you get an invoice from Domain Registry of America (DROA) or Domain Registry of Canada (DROC), discard the invoice and do not pay it. This is a scam.

Please be aware of the practices of this company. They send you a real looking invoice, which is nothing but a request for you to pay them money to get the domain transferred to them as the registrar.

First, they are more expensive. We have discounted registration pricing for our customers.

Secondly, you do not want to have your domain registered with a company like this that is involved in these types of practices. We operate with integrity and do not engage in scams like this.
