How do I setup custom name servers with my Windows or Windows ColdFusion VPS?

1 - Setup the DNS A records ns#.yourdomain.com and ns#.yourdomain.com pointing to the IP address of our nameservers in your DNS zone. This is usually provided either in the email sent to you with your account information or from within your control panel. Below is the IPs of the nameservers for VPS Custom DNS.

ns1.hostek.com - 216.15.198.133 ns2.hostek.com - 216.15.198.134

2 - Go to your registrar and register the name servers. Every registrar is different for how you do this but it is usually very straight forward and they can help you do it if you have trouble. You will want to point the name servers to the above listed IP's.
