How to Clear the Cache and Cookies from Computer Web-Browsers

Google Chrome

  1. Click on Menu (Three horizontal bars typically to the right of the browser)
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click "Show advanced settings..."
  4. Click Clear Browsing Data
  5. Select the time range
  6. Check the "Cookies and other site and plug-in data" box
  7. Click Clear Browsing Data

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on History
  2. Click on Clear Recent History
  3. Select the checkboxes you need
  4. Click Clear Now

Opera

  1. Click the Opera button at the top left
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Delete Private Data
  4. Select the data to be deleted
  5. Click Delete

Internet Explorer

  1. Click the Settings icon (Gear icon)
  2. Under the General section find the Browsing History
  3. Click Delete...
  4. Select the appropriate options
  5. Click Delete

Safari

  1. Click on Edit
  2. Click on Empty Cache...
  3. Choose Empty
