Changing Your Domain Name

• If you need your hosted domain name changed we can get this done for you. All you'll need to do is send an email to support@hostek.com letting us know you would like your domain name changed and include the following information:

1. Current Domain Name
2. New Domain Name
3. The answer to your security question for verification

• Once we've completed the change we'll send out an email with your hosting details including the updated domain name

Important Notes

• Changing the domain name will only change the domain name for the hosting account NOT the domain registration
• Domain names can be changed for both WCP and cPanel hosting accounts
• You will need to make sure the new domain name is registered and pointed to the nameservers listed in your hosting account information email
