How To Edit/Change My Contact Details
- To login, visit http://cp.hostek.com
- Username - use your Email Address:
- Password - use the one provided to you in the welcome e-mail
- Click "Hello, Your Name!" drop down menu in the upper right hand corner, Click "Edit Account Detail".
- You will see a screen where you can edit all your information.
- Once you are done editing click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the screen
How to Add a New Contact or additional contacts
- To login, visit http://cp.hostek.com
- Click "Hello, Your Name!" drop down menu in the upper right hand corner, Click Contacts/Sub-Accounts.
- Under Choose Contact select Add New Contact in the drop down menu, and click Go.
- Fill in the information needed.
- You can select which type of emails you want them to receive under the "Email Preferences" section at the bottom.
- Once you are done click on the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the screen.
- To remove a Contact/Sub-Account follow the steps 1-2.
- Select a contact in Choose Contact.
- Click on Delete Contact at the bottom of the page.
How to add or edit your credit card information
- To login, visit http://cp.hostek.com
- Username use your Email Address:
- Password use the one provided to you in the welcome e-mail
- Click the "Billing" tab in the Top upper middle left of the screen., then click the "Manage Credit Card".
- Put the requested information carefully. Please double check your CC number when imputing it.
- Once you are done click on the "Save Changes" icon at the bottom of the screen.
How to change your billing password
- To change your password
- To login, visit http://cp.hostek.com
- Username - use your Email Address:
- Password - use the one provided to you in the welcome e-mail
- Click the "Hello, Your Name" in the upper right hand corner, click "Change Password".
- Enter your Existing Password, then the New Password and confirm the new password.
- Once you are done click on the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the screen.
How to reset your billing password
- To reset your password
- To login, visit http://cp.hostek.com
- Click on the "Request a Password Reset" link below the Login.
- Enter the "Email Address" that we have on file.
- If you have a security question setup then you will need to provide that answer as well. Hit the "Submit" icon.
- Now the it should say "Validation Email Sent"
- Once you receive the e-mail please click on the URL where it says "To reset your password, please visit the URL below:"
How to change the "Security Question"
- To login, visit http://cp.hostek.com
- Username - use your Email Address
- Password - use the one provided to you in the welcome e-mail
- Click the "Update Your Details" to the right of Account Information then click the "Change Security Question" on the middle screen menu bar.
- If you have a security question set, enter the answer.
- Please choose a security question
- Please enter an answer, then confirm your answer.
- Once you are done click on the "Save Changes" icon at the bottom of the screen.
Note - If you have forgotten the answer to your current security question, contact support for assistance.
How to Pay an invoice for Paypal and Credit card payments
- To login, visit http://cp.hostek.com
- Username - use your Email Address:
- Password - use the one provided to you in the welcome e-mail
- Click the Billing menu at the top and select "My Invoices".
- You will see a list of all your invoices on your account tracked by a invoice #
- Now find the invoice that you are needing to pay.
- Click on the "View Invoice" button on the right.
- Once you are in, verify the payment method is set to the correct method.
- Now click on the "Pay Now" button.
- If you are paying by paypal your paypal login screen should pop up.
- If paying by CC you can "Use Existing Card" or "Enter New Card Information Below"
- Make sure your information is set correctly.
- Now click on the "Click to Continue" icon.
- Proceed with the payment.
How to Manage My registered Domains in my account
- To login, visit http://cp.hostek.com
- Username - use your Email Address:
- Password - use the one provided to you in the welcome e-mail
- Click the Domains menu and select "My Domains" from the drop-down.
- On this screen you will see a list of your registered/transferred domains, the registration date and the next due date (expiration date).
- To manage your domain name click on the little Notebook with a green arrow on it to the right middle of the screen.
- Here you can Enable/Disable auto renew. We recommend that you have auto renew enabled.
- If a domain is disabled from auto renew "WARNING! It will therefore expire and become inactive at the end of the current term unless manually renewed."
- To renew a domain right now click on "Renew Domain" in the Domains menu.
- Select the domain you are wanting to renew and then click on the "Order now" button.
- To modify the WHOIS information for a domain names contact please click on the " Contact Information" Tab.
- Put the information needed and then click save. We recommend that you leave the administrative contact as us so we can manage the pre domain renewal notices.
- To get the EPP code click on the "Get EPP Code" Tab.
- To modify the name server for where your domain name points to input the name servers in the middle of the screen where it says Nameserver 1: and Nameserver 1: then click the "Save Changes" tab right under that.
How to Disable Auto Renew (or Enable Auto Renew)
- To login, visit http://cp.hostek.com
- Username - use your Email Address:
- Password - use the one provided to you in the welcome e-mail
- Click the Domains menu and then "My Domains"
- Click on "Manage Domain" for the domain you would like to modify auto-renew settings
- Click on the "Auto Renew" tab
- The status of your Auto Renew setting will be displayed with a button to Enable/Disable auto-renew
How to Add New Services

- Click the Services menu.
- Click Order New Services or View Available Addons
- Find the desired service and click Order Now
How to order multiple years of Domain Registration
- Note: If you currently have a due invoice for the Domain's Registration, please contact support to get this cancelled. (https://support.hostek.com/ or email support@hostek.com)
- Firstly, you'll want to log in to your Client Area (here: https://cp.hostek.com/)
- Click on Domains.
- Select Renew Domains.
- And then select the amount of years you wish to pay for from the drop-down menu on the right-side of the Domain Name.
- Click the Order Now button.
How to edit Domain Registration Contact Details
- If your domain is registered with us, these are steps to change your Domain Contact Details / WHOIS Information.
- Log in to the Client Area (here: https://cp.hostek.com/).
- Click on Domains.
- Select My Domains.
- On the right-side of the chosen Domain, you will want to click the Down-Arrow next to Manage Domain.
- If your domain is currently in a locked state, please move to the Registrar Lock tab, and click Disable Registrar Lock.
- Click Edit Contact Information.
- Make any changes that you wish.
- Click Save Changes at the bottom, to ensure that you've kept the differences.

Permissions for Sub-Accounts
- To set permission and restrictions for Sub Accounts follow these steps:
- Log in to the (Billing) Control Panel, here: http://cp.hostek.com/.
- On the Home page, click Update Your Details.
- Click on the Contacts/Sub-Accounts tab.
- Tick Activate Sub-Account to configure as a sub-account with client area access.
- Tick the boxes next to the settings you would like applied.
- Now set a different password than the one you used to log in.
- Note: The Sub-Accounts are NOT intended for Resellers to set-up for their clients; these are intended for individuals like business partners, or employees that need/should have administrative access.
- Note - There are other Categories you can select from by clicking on the Choose another Category link at the top.
