64bit ColdFusion and Microsoft Access
Q: I ordered 64bit ColdFusion but because I use Access databases can it be changed to 32bit ColdFusion?
A: There are two options for setting up DSN's on our Windows ColdFusion VPS servers, the first (recommended) is through our WCP(Windows Control Panel), this will setup the appropriate 32bit compatible DSN. The second method is using the CFAdmin which will use the 64bit driver to setup the Access DSN and will not work.
