How do I setup custom name servers with my Windows or Windows ColdFusion VPS?

Steps

  1. Setup "A" records in your domain name's DNS records for ns1.your-domain.com and ns2.your-domain.com pointing these to the IP address of our nameservers.
  2. At your registrar, register the name servers. Every registrar is different but this is usually straight forward and they can help you do it if you have trouble.

Default Name Servers

  • The DNS server names are included in the email sent to you with server login information.

VPS Windows Default

ns1 - 198.41.223.16

ns2 - 198.41.222.19

VPS cPanel Linux Default

ns7 - 198.41.222.18

ns8 - 198.41.223.18
