  1. Adobe is no longer providing security updates for ColdFusion 8. ColdFusion 9 and even ColdFusion 10 has been out a while. No fault to Adobe here. That is the general process of software.

Will my site work with ColdFusion 9 or ColdFusion 10?

  1. In most cases, yes, without any changes. We have migrated thousands of sites from ColdFusion 6, 7 and 8 to ColdFusion 9 and/or 10 and have only seen a few sites that did not work without some minor changes.
  2. We have been able to work with the developer and site owners to get the needed changes made to their application. If the changes are fairly small and don't require a whole lot of time, we have provided this service for free. We want you on the latest ColdFusion versions for your security.

Can I try my site on ColdFusion 9 or ColdFusion 10 without bringing my site down?

  1. Yes, we can move your site to a new server and provide a pre-propagation testing URL. This allows you to test the site first to get any issues worked out.
